This year at SARCity 2007 the Equine Track will be a 16 hour post certified tracking class instructed by Fernando Moreira. This class is specifically geared for equestrian mounted units. (Please note that on the registration form, it still shows the Horse track as Horsemanship. That was last years course that the title did not get changed for this year. Go ahead and mark this track, but again this year will be a Tracking Class for Horseback)
This is a HORSE ON CLASS which will utilize the college on Friday night for classroom, and the remainder of the weekend will be held at the Marine Corp Logistics Base, an awesome facility that is the home of the Marine Mounted Color Guard. There are 21 stables available, or you can bring your trailer and pen off that. Should the stables fill, pens are available if you do not bring your own. The Marine Base is 10 miles from the college, east on the I40, off the Daggett Exit. The Base is under security 24/7, and we will provide hay, water and port a potties should you which to stay out there overnight.
