This will be an 8 hour class consisting of classroom and fieldwork. It is geared for the beginner, and is an excellent introductory class. It is fast paced with a lot to cover in a short time so be prepared to take notes, take pictures and learn alot. The only thing you need to bring with you are leather gloves, all other equipment will be supplied. You will learn knots, anchors, equipment, lowering and belay systems, haul systems, and litter setup.
NOTE: In no way will this class make you ready to handle any kind of rope rescue, and no certificate will be issued, but you will receive excellent instruction on the basics and the background to move on to more advanced rope classes offered such as TRBC, CMC, Ropes that Rescue....
